Product Description:
The VT-HNC100-1-13/130 is a digital axis controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. Designed for closed-loop positioning and velocity tasks on hydraulic machinery, the unit forms the core of a single-axis electrohydraulic drive. By combining signal conditioning, numerical control, and field communication on one card, it coordinates valves and feedback devices used to automate presses, test rigs, and cylinder-based systems. This integrated design allows the controller to process commands and feedback signals without requiring separate control modules for each function.
The integrated processor is a 16/32-bit MC68376 that executes interpolation routines while supervising axis safety. Program code is stored in 1 MB of flash memory, while parameter sets are stored in an 8 KB EEPROM. Quadrature encoders can be sampled at up to 250 kHz, and the SSI interface accepts position words of up to 28 bits, allowing high-resolution displacement transducers to connect directly. During operation, the controller draws only 8 W, minimizing heat generation inside the cabinet. An analog command stage generates ±10 V with a granularity of 1.25 mV, providing fine control of the valve spool.
The voltage inputs feature an impedance of 200 kΩ ±2% and a resolution of 5 mV, while the current inputs present a load of 100 Ω ±0.2% with a resolution of 5 µA. These values allow standard pressure or position transmitters to connect directly without signal converters. For discrete outputs, the board can switch up to 50 mA, while its voltage output channel can source or sink ±10 mA and maintain residual ripple within ±60 mV for stable actuator behavior. Parameter exchange over the RS-232 port uses a baud rate of 9.6 kbaud. Dynamic data, such as setpoints and diagnostic flags, reside in 256 KB of RAM. Nonvolatile settings correspond to component Series 1 and the controller configuration intended for one hydraulic axis. The internal control system uses the Digital NC HNC100 architecture.
