Product Description:
The VT-HNC100-1-1X-150-1 digital axis controller is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. Intended for one hydraulic axis, it coordinates servo-valves, encoders, and pressure transducers so a machine can execute closed-loop motion profiles without an external PLC. The module forms the core of a Digital NC control HNC100 installation and therefore serves as the command element in presses, molding equipment, and other hydraulic automation stations where precise axis positioning is required.
Total dissipation is limited to 8 W, allowing installation in densely populated panels. Control algorithms run on a 16/32-bit MC68376 processor, and the axis version accepts four current input channels that present 100 Ω of input impedance with a granularity of 5 µA. Two current output channels drive valve coils directly, while the incremental encoder interface tracks feedback signals up to 250 kHz for tight position loops. For setup or diagnostics, an RS-232 port operates at 9.6 KBaud. Because the card belongs to component series 1, it maintains electrical layouts and I/O allocation common to earlier HNC100 designs.
Program code resides in 1 MB of flash EPROM, runtime variables occupy 256 KB of RAM, and non-volatile parameters are backed up in an 8 KB EEPROM. The analog section also provides four voltage input channels with 200 kΩ of impedance and a resolution of 5 mV. Four voltage outputs, each able to source or sink ±10 mA, cater to servo-valve electronics or external set-point devices. By combining these memory resources with deterministic analog outputs, the controller can store complex motion programs, refresh process data cyclically, and maintain accuracy on hydraulic axes throughout continuous industrial service.
