It features 2 voltage and 2 current analog inputs per axis, supports incremental or SSI position transducers, and operates on a supply voltage range of 18 to 30 VDC. The controller offers 11 digital I/O per axis, 24 V sensor supply, and mounts on a 35 mm top hat rail according to EN 60715 standard.
Internal Product Review
The VT-HNC100-2-31/P-I-00/G02 is a Bosch Rexroth Indramat digital axis controller configured for 2 hydraulic axes with 2-axis synchronization. Incremental/SSI position transducer support and 2 voltage plus 2 current analog inputs per axis provide excellent flexibility for precise closed-loop hydraulic control. An 18-30 VDC supply range with less than 1.5 Vpp ripple support makes this unit a very capable choice for stable motion control integration.

Product Description:
The VT-HNC100-2-31/P-I-00/G02 is an axis controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. It is a Digital NC control HNC100 unit configured for two hydraulic axes, and it executes closed-loop motion tasks without an additional fieldbus interface. Within an automation cell, the module converts position feedback from transducers into precise valve commands, coordinating synchronized two-axis movements for presses, testing rigs, or tooling stations. This arrangement allows the controller to regulate hydraulic motion directly while processing the feedback needed to maintain accurate position and velocity.
Each hydraulic axis has two voltage and two current analog inputs for reference or pressure signals. It also has two voltage and one current analog outputs that drive proportional valves or external setpoint circuits. Eleven digital inputs per axis accept signals from limit switches, homing sensors, and similar control devices, while 11 programmable digital outputs operate pump contactors, status lamps, or interlocks. The controller can support a maximum of 20 digital outputs through the backplane when more output points are required. A stabilized reference output of 10 V allows external potentiometers to generate local command signals. The unit belongs to component series 3 and fits a 35 mm top-hat rail. Its internal synchronization system aligns the movement of both hydraulic axes without relying on the time base of a supervisory PLC.
The control electronics operate from a supply of 18–30 VDC, with supply ripple limited to less than 1.5 Vpp. A dedicated sensor bus provides 24 V for connected transducers, while the encoder electronics receive 5 V and an auxiliary 24 V line to power SSI interfaces. Rail mounting conforms to the EN 60715 profile, allowing the module to be installed in a compatible control cabinet. The controller accepts incremental or SSI feedback, providing flexibility for machines that use different position-sensing methods. Its stand-alone control capability permits deterministic hydraulic motion when a network connection is unavailable or unnecessary.
