Product Description:
The VT-HNC100-2-30/P-I-00/G02 is a digital axis controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. It supervises coordinated hydraulic motion by translating setpoint data into proportional valve commands and converting position feedback into digital control signals. Within industrial automation cells, the module serves as a dedicated closed-loop processor that links machine PLCs to servo-hydraulic cylinders for synchronized positioning and pressure regulation.
The controller is supplied as the version for two hydraulic axes, with processing and channel hardware that support synchronized interpolation. System power is accepted across an 18–30 VDC range, allowing connection to standard 24-volt control buses. Installation is simplified by the top-hat rail mounting format, which clips directly onto a DIN rail inside a control cabinet. The electronics have an IP20 rating, which protects live parts from accidental contact but requires installation in a clean, dry enclosure. Configuration is performed through the RS-232 service interface. The unit does not include a fieldbus connection, so communication with external equipment must use the available local interface. Internal synchronization supports matched cylinder travel in gantries, presses, and test rigs without requiring a separate motion processor.
Each axis accepts feedback from incremental or SSI position transducers and can process up to two current inputs for pressure or force sensors. Command signals are provided through two voltage outputs per axis for controlling proportional valves. Limit switches, interlocks, and other discrete devices can use 11 digital I/O lines per axis. The board also provides two voltage inputs per axis for external analog reference values, allowing setpoints from compatible control devices to be incorporated into the motion sequence. The electronics can be stored or transported at temperatures from -20 to +70 °C, allowing the controller to remain in unconditioned stockrooms within that range. No TCP/IP connection is provided, so network access remains local rather than Ethernet-based.
