The VT-HNC100-2-3X-P-I-E0-000 is a digital axis controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. This model belongs to the HNC100 product family and is intended to command two independent hydraulic cylinders or valve groups in industrial automation cells. By integrating measurement inputs, status LEDs, and fieldbus options into one compact housing, the device reduces panel space and simplifies setup when precise hydraulic positioning or pressure regulation is needed. Independent channel control allows one unit to manage synchronized cylinder motion on one machine section while handling a separate hydraulic function on another, which is useful in presses, forming stations, and material-handling equipment.
It controls 2 axes. Each axis slot has two voltage inputs, two current inputs, two voltage outputs, and one current output, while eleven discrete signals per slot add local logic without an external PLC. That mix allows the controller to read transducers, issue valve commands, and process local status signals in the same module. The housing is rated IP20 and mounts on a Top Hat Rail. Communication for parameter transfer and service runs over Ethernet with TCP/IP, and internal power regulation keeps supply ripple below <1.5 Vpp to limit analog noise in hydraulic control loops.
Up to 20 digital outputs are available for valve drives or safety relays, and they draw power from the 24 Vsens rail. Application code is prepared with WIN-PED 7 and can be transferred through the front-mounted RS232 port when network access is unavailable, so loading and service access remain available even on isolated machines. The controller is supplied without a bus connection, so a fieldbus module can be added later as required. Series 3 components provide encoder supply pins at 5 Venc, 24 Venc, and 10 Vref for SSI or incremental feedback, while NS, MS, L, and S LEDs show link status. The model also omits an inductive position sensor, which suits machines that already use external stroke transducers.
