Product Description:
The VT-HNC100-2-21-W-16-P-0 belongs to the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. As a digital NC control unit, it governs hydraulic motion loops and can coordinate pressure and position on two cylinders or servo valves in automated cells. Mounted on a wall inside a control cabinet, the controller links field devices to a higher-level PLC and converts feedback from external transducers into velocity or position commands. Because hydraulic actuators often respond differently than electric servos, the unit is intended to manage closed-loop behavior with sensor input and valve command output in the same housing.
This model is supplied as a version for 2 hydraulic axes, so one housing can manage both controlled motions without an external multiplexer. Communication to centralized control is handled through a DP Profibus port, while four voltage input channels and four voltage output channels handle analog command and feedback signals for valves and sensors. A bank of 16 input / output lines covers end switches, status contacts, and alarm signals; each digital input presents 3 kΩ of resistance, and every digital output can source or sink up to 50 mA. With an analog input resistance of 200 kΩ, the front end places only a light electrical load on connected measuring devices. Dimensions of 106.5 × 155 × 204 mm keep the unit compact for dense cabinet layouts, and the controller relies on external transducers because it does not include onboard evaluation electronics or an inductive position sensor.
The controller draws only 8 W, which helps limit heat buildup inside enclosed cabinets and supports installation near other control hardware. On the fieldbus side, telegrams move at up to 12 MBaud, and a serial interface operating at 9.6 KBaud is available for diagnostics or local setup. The serial channel can be used for direct access when fieldbus communication is not the preferred service path. Wall mounting keeps the unit separate from rack hardware and supports flexible placement within the enclosure.
