In presses, injection machines, and material-handling stations, it converts position commands from a higher-level PLC into metered oil flow for repeatable travel profiles and controlled force output. This arrangement allows the controller to regulate hydraulic motion with continuous closed-loop correction rather than open-loop valve control.
