Product Description:
The VT-HNC100-1-21-M-08-0-0 digital axis controller is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. As part of the Digital NC control HNC100 platform, this rack-mount module supervises proportional valves and feedback devices to close the hydraulic control loop on a motion axis. In presses, injection machines, and material-handling stations, it converts position commands from a higher-level PLC into metered oil flow for repeatable travel profiles and controlled force output. This arrangement allows the controller to regulate hydraulic motion with continuous closed-loop correction rather than open-loop valve control.
This controller is supplied in the version for 1 hydraulic axis, so its processing resources are assigned to a single cylinder or actuator path. It provides 4 current input channels for pressure sensors or spool-position transducers. The voltage inputs have a 5 mV input voltage resolution, allowing small signal changes to be measured accurately. Configuration data are stored in 1 MB of flash memory, and working data are handled in RAM for deterministic response during control tasks. Power demand remains low at 8 W, which helps limit heat inside the control cabinet during continuous operation.
The module includes 8 digital input/output points for limit switches, enable signals, and alarm relays. Its housing measures 71 x 155 x 204 mm, which keeps the unit compact for rack installation. A 16/32-bit MC68376 processor performs sampling, PID control, and trajectory interpolation, while the 9.6 KBaud serial port supports setup communication. With a total mass of 1.0 kg, the controller remains easy to mount, and external LVDTs or encoders can be connected through the analog channels because no inductive position sensor is built in. The controller can also operate without a bus module when a simple stand-alone arrangement is preferred.
