VT-HNC100-1-10/110 is programmable NC control. It is specifically designed for single axis hydraulic control applications. It runs on DC power and requires supply voltage ranging from 18 to 32 Volts DC. Power consumption of the control is 8 Watts. The main component on the control that performs all processing functions is a MC68376 processor. RAM on the control is 256 KB. The control is also equipped with 1 MB of flash ERPOM and 8 KB of EEPROM. Operators can use the WIN-PED software for NC control configuration. This software is not supplied with the control. Operators can either download it from the Bosch website or order is separately on CD-ROM. The computer running WIN-PED must have at least 8 MB RAM and 10 MB of hard drive capacity. The computer must have an Intel 80286 or better processor. The computer communicates with the VT-HNC100-1-10/110 control over a serial link. An RS-232 interface is provided on the control for this purpose. Features supported by WIN-PED include on-line and off-line setting of machine data, NC editor with integral syntax checker, program compiler, display of process data and digital inputs/outputs and flags, recording and graphical representation of maximum four process variables and dialogue for the graphical definition of special functions. The NC control supports multiple monitoring functions, including cable break monitoring, error monitoring and traverse range limits. Position controller features supported by the VT-HNC100-1-10/110 include state feedback, error compensation, fine positioning, characteristic curve, and PIDT1 controller. Pressure and force controller features supported by the NC control include differential pressure evaluation, scanning rate, and PIDT-1 controller. The temperature range specified by Bosch is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. Only trained personnel should handle and operate the NC control.
