It features 4 current input channels with 5 μA resolution and 4 voltage input channels with 5 mV resolution. The controller uses a 16/32-bit MC68376 processor and offers 1 MB flash memory, 256 KB RAM, and 8 KB EEPROM.
Internal Product Review
The VT-HNC100-1-10/110 is a Bosch Rexroth digital axis controller for 1 hydraulic axis, built around a 16/32-bit MC68376 processor. Signal conditioning is impressive, pairing 5 µA current input resolution with 5 mV voltage input resolution for accurate feedback handling. The 250 kHz incremental max frequency makes the controller a strong fit for responsive hydraulic axis applications.

Product Description:
The VT-HNC100-1-10/110 is a digital axis controller supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. It is intended for machine tools, presses, and other motion-control tasks where a hydraulic actuator must be regulated with consistent position, velocity, or force feedback. The controller interfaces directly with proportional or servo-hydraulic valves, and its local analog and serial I/O, combined with nonvolatile memory, allow it to handle many drive functions without relying on an external PLC.
This model is built for 1 hydraulic axis, so its internal timing and feedback resources are assigned to a single drive channel. Control algorithms run on a 16/32-bit MC68376 microcontroller, while programs, parameters, and error logs are stored in 1 MB of flash memory. The incremental encoder input accepts edge rates up to 250 kHz, which supports accurate tracking of fast transducers during dynamic motion. Configuration and diagnostic commands can be exchanged over the front-panel RS-232 interface at 9.6 kBaud. Four differential voltage inputs, four current inputs, four high-impedance inputs, two current outputs, and four voltage outputs connect the unit to pressure sensors, valve coils, and auxiliary transducers, and a 200 mA sensor supply is available for external electronics.
Transient data and cam tables are buffered by 256 KB of static RAM, while change-retentive parameters occupy 8 KB of EEPROM. Each current input is digitized with 5 µA resolution, and each voltage input is resolved to 5 mV, which allows precise measurement of low-level analog signals. Internal references are stabilized to ±10 V ±25 mV, so voltage-based scaling remains tightly controlled during operation. For absolute feedback, an SSI channel supports word lengths up to 28 bits, which accommodates high-resolution position encoders used on large presses or gantry axes.
