Product Description:
The VT-HNC100-1-2X-M-08-C-0-INK2 is a digital axis controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. Intended for rack installation, it supervises closed-loop motion on hydraulic machinery by converting sensor feedback into valve commands that follow programmed setpoints. In an automation cell, it links pressure transducers, position encoders, and a PLC over a CANopen fieldbus, providing coordinated motion control while occupying a shallow 204 mm panel depth.
Its signal interface begins with 4 analog input channels that accept ±10 V references so pressure or displacement transducers can be monitored directly. Discrete interfacing is handled by 8 digital I/O lines that can act as command inputs or status outputs for limit switches and pumps. The controller samples incremental encoders up to 250 kHz, allowing precise position feedback on fast-stroking cylinders. Internal electronics draw only 8 W, reducing cabinet heat. A compact housing of 71 × 155 × 204 mm fits standard 19-inch racks, and communication with higher-level control is accomplished over CANopen or an auxiliary 9.6 kBaud RS-232 service port. Voltage inputs are buffered by a 200 kΩ network, while current inputs use 100 Ω termination for accurate sensor conditioning.
Output drivers can source or sink up to 50 mA, which is adequate for LED indicators or opto-coupled relays without external amplifiers. An analog resolution of 5 mV supports fine loop tuning when small hydraulic pressure changes must be detected. With a mass of 1.0 kg, the module places little load on slide-in carriers. The controller is configured for 1 hydraulic axis and includes a counter interface that synchronizes with external metering wheels. Because no evaluation electronics or inductive position sensor are integrated, the unit uses external transducers that remain within the controller’s ±10 V reference window.
