The VT-HNC100-1-20a/W-08-I-0/IBUS12 digital axis controller is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as a member of the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. Within the broader Digital NC control HNC100 product line, it is the version configured for one hydraulic axis, allowing closed-loop positioning and pressure regulation of servo-hydraulic cylinders. The unit mounts directly on a wall and serves as the embedded motion processor that links high-level PLC commands to proportional valves and transducers in presses, molding machines, endurance test stands, and other demanding industrial applications.
Electronics on this controller belong to component series 2, so firmware and terminal layouts align with the second hardware release. Four current-loop inputs are provided; each is terminated with 100 Ω ±0.2 % to match common 4–20 mA transmitters, and the converter resolves signal changes down to 5 µA. Two current outputs reproduce command values for external amplifiers, while four voltage inputs with 200 kΩ ±2 % impedance accept ±10 V feedback. The module also supplies four voltage outputs for reference generation. A block of 8 inputs and 8 outputs supports limit switches and status bits, and motion programs exchange data with higher-level control systems over the INTERBUS-S fieldbus.
