Internal Product Review
The VT-HNC100-4-30-C-I-00-000 is a digital axis controller configured for 4 hydraulic axes. Top Hat Rail mounting and IP20 protection support clean cabinet integration in controlled industrial environments. Strong I/O capacity with up to 20 digital outputs makes the unit a very capable choice for multi-axis hydraulic control.

Product Description:
The VT-HNC100-4-30-C-I-00-000 axis controller is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. As a compact digital NC module, it supervises hydraulic motion loops in presses, forming machines, and test benches. It converts command data into precise valve currents so cylinders or hydraulic motors can reach programmed positions and forces with repeatable control.
It is supplied in the version for 4 hydraulic axes, allowing one module to coordinate four independent cylinder drives. Each axis slot provides 11 digital inputs and outputs, so switches and limit sensors can be connected without external expander cards. Analog setpoints enter through a 15-pin connector, while encoder feedback is received through a second 15-pin socket to close the position loop. A CANopen fieldbus option is present physically through a 9-pin connector, but this ordering code does not include the bus interface, so axis data remains local. Internal power rails are filtered to keep residual voltage fluctuation below <1.5 Vpp, which helps keep valve current stable. Control power reaches the board through a 3-pin plug.
Up to 20 digital driver stages are available for solenoid or relay actuation, adding output capacity beyond the per-axis channels. The unit snaps onto a top hat rail, so it can be mounted inside shallow control cabinets without extra brackets. With an IP20 protection class, live parts are finger-safe, but the housing should be installed in a clean enclosure. Parameter backup and service diagnostics are handled through an RS-232 service link. No TCP/IP service, no global synchronization function, and no inductive position sensor option are included in this version, and without a back-plane fieldbus the HNC100 control core carries out motion tasks locally after the start command is issued.
