Product Description:
The VT-HNC100-1-2X-M-08-P-0-INK2 is a digital axis controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. It is intended to manage motion on hydraulic machinery by closing the control loop between proportional valves and higher-level PLCs in presses, injection molding cells, and similar equipment. The unit combines setpoint generation, sensor conditioning, and fieldbus access inside one compact enclosure. This lets one module handle local axis control while remaining linked to the main machine controller. Because the control loop is closed inside the controller, hydraulic axes can respond more consistently to changing load conditions and machine commands.
The controller is configured for 1 hydraulic axis. Communication uses the DP Profibus interface for cyclic setpoint exchange with higher-level logic. Four voltage input channels, two current output channels, and four voltage output channels handle analog devices, and the analog channel mix supports both sensor signals and command signals around the axis. This combination allows the module to accept external references, read transducers, and send commanded values to connected hardware. Each voltage input has a 200 kΩ ± 2% impedance, and current signal measurement uses a 100 Ω ± 0.2% shunt. Eight digital terminals are available in an 8 input/output arrangement that can be assigned to limit switches or status flags. Physical size is 71 × 155 × 204 mm, and the nonvolatile program space is 1 MB of Flash EPROM for application code. A counter interface is included for incremental encoder feedback.
Computation is handled by a 16/32-bit MC68376 microcontroller that executes position loops from onboard RAM sized at 256 KB. This memory supports fast handling of motion routines and temporary operating data during axis control. The device belongs to component series 2 of the HNC100 Digital NC control family and is supplied without an inductive position sensor, leaving transducer selection open for the application. Designed for rack installation, the module slides into a 19-inch cabinet and locks onto a backplane bus. Despite its metal housing, it weighs only 1.0 kg. The compact mass is useful where several controllers are mounted together in one cabinet bay.
