The VT-HNC100-3-3X-P-I-00-G03 is a digital axis controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. Intended for hydraulic motion systems, it serves as the core of a Digital NC HNC100 installation by sequencing valves and feedback devices so that multiple cylinders move in coordinated profiles. Its assigned task is to close the position and pressure loops of three independent cylinders, allowing a PLC to issue high-level commands while the controller manages deterministic axis behavior.
This model is supplied for 3 hydraulic axes, and each axis provides two differential analog current channels plus two analog voltage channels for sensor acquisition. Eleven digital I/O lines per axis support limit, enable, and fault signaling, while every channel is referenced to a +10 V ±25 mV source for stable transducer supply. Voltage command signals are generated with a resolution of 1.25 mV, allowing fine valve modulation. The 32-bit calculations run on a 32-bit PowerPC processor, and the controller synchronizes all axes every cycle to maintain consistent motion. Incremental encoder inputs accept edge frequencies up to 250 kHz, while an SSI interface handles absolute position words up to 28-bit.
