The VT-HNC100-1-1X/142 is a Bosch Rexroth HNC100 digital axis control unit for closed-loop controlled axes. This 0.6kg device features numerous operating modes, including drive-controlled position control, direct valve control, positioning block mode, and drive-controlled positioning. It can be used for control functions in hydraulic and electric drives, including velocity control, position control, pressure control, force control, and alternating control. The ideal nominal voltage for the control unit’s operation is 24V DC, and its Ingress Protection rating is IP 20 according to EN 60529. This means that it cannot be penetrated by solid extrinsic objects of 12mm or more. Its housing material is comprised of glass-fiber reinforced polyamide plastic, and thanks to its compact size, it can be safely mounted in a control cabinet with cooling slots to ensure heat dissipation.
With the monitoring system of the VT-HNC100-1-1X/142, faults like communication errors and cable breaks for analog sensor inputs can be detected. LEDs on the device also aid this fault identification and resolution function. In addition, conditions like undervoltage, overcurrent of 24V sensor voltages and digital outputs, and short-circuit monitoring for analog/digital outputs can be monitored.
