Product Description:
The VT-HNC100-3-3X-P-I-E0-000 is a digital axis controller from Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. It is designed to execute closed-loop control tasks on hydraulic machinery, linking sensors and actuators so that motion profiles and pressure sequences run with deterministic accuracy in industrial automation cells. That architecture supports repeatable positioning, pressure regulation, and sequence control in machines that rely on electrohydraulic actuation. The device also forms part of the Digital NC control HNC100 family.
This 3X variant handles 3 hydraulic axes, each monitored through 6 current inputs that accept analog feedback from pressure or flow transducers. A further bank of 33 digital I/O points covers limit switches, interlocks, status lamps, and other machine signals, while 2 Ethernet ports permit segmented deterministic communication with higher-level PLCs or peer controllers. For direct service links, an integrated RS232 interface remains available. Three encoder channels support incremental or absolute position devices, and three current outputs drive proportional valve coils for closed-loop hydraulic response. Six voltage inputs and five voltage outputs allow mixed-signal control loops without additional interface cards in the cabinet. The module is supplied without a bus connection, and there is no synchronization option, so multi-axis coordination can instead be carried out through the available discrete lines.
The controller carries an IP20 protection class, so it must be installed inside a cabinet with filtered airflow and protection from incidental contact. Parameter sets are created with WIN-PED 7 and transferred through the service port that supports TCP/IP sessions for setup and diagnostics. Up to 20 digital outputs can be assigned to alarms, drive-ready signals, or command steps. An inductive position sensor is not included, leaving the selection of external LVDT hardware to the integrator. The hardware revision is component series 3, and all logic operates from a 24 V supply distributed along standard DIN-rail terminals.
