Product Description:

The VT-HNC100-1-13/140 is an axis controller of type XC that is meant to control accurate and flexible movements of the axes. It is equipped with 1 MB Flash EPROM memory which is coupled with 8 KB EEPROM storage and 256 KB RAM capacity. All these internal memories ensure stable operation under diverse control operations. The unit has four voltage input channels with a value of 200 kΩ as the input resistance and plus or minus 2 percent tolerance. Each of these voltage inputs is designed to support signal currents up to 10 milliamps.

The device also has four current input channels. These process typical current signals between 4 milliamps and 20 milliamps with an input resistance of 100 ohms and an accuracy of plus or minus 0.2 percent. It also accommodates digital switching inputs with configurable flexibility. 8, 16, or 24 inputs can be chosen by the user based on the needs of the application. Such inputs accept logic levels of 5 volts or lower for low and 10 volts or higher for high. The resistance in this model is rated at 3 kΩ with a tolerance of 10 percent. Moreover, the switching outputs are also offered in 8, 16, or 24 channels.

The outputs in the unit give logic levels of 2 volts or lower. It can handle maximum current loads of 50 milliamps per channel. The controller can drive a maximum of two inductive position transducers. Both channels have an effective voltage of 2 volts and can supply a maximum current of 30 milliamps. The controller has a compact design with varying weights by model type. The base unit is 1.0 kilograms. The bigger models are each 1.2 kilograms. This controller provides reliable performance, selectable input options, and wide output capability for high-performance control applications.
