Product Description:
The VT-HNC100-1-23-W-08-I-0 is a digital axis controller in the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. The unit is configured for one hydraulic axis and works as the closed-loop regulation stage between higher-level commands and hydraulic actuation hardware. It processes feedback, compares actual and target positions, and issues output commands so that hydraulic cylinders move accurately under PLC or CNC supervision. The controller is used as stand-alone electronics in machine tools and forming presses, where a central controller delegates fast axis regulation to a dedicated module.
The controller handles sensor data through 4 analog current inputs with programmable 0–20 mA ranges and 5 mV resolution. It also provides 4 analog voltage inputs for ±10 V transducers, while actuator commands leave the unit on 2 current outputs that support loads up to 500 Ω. This combination allows the module to accept common hydraulic feedback signals and send proportional control commands to external hardware. Machine states are handled through 8 digital I/O channels, and communication is available over InterBus S and an RS232 service link at 9.6 kBaud. Because no inductive position sensor is integrated, external feedback modules must be wired, and nonvolatile flash memory retains parameter data and stored motion sequences when supply power is removed.
For cabinet installation, the housing measures 71 × 155 × 204 mm, which allows dense mounting on a panel without taking excessive space. Operating demand is only 8 W, so internal heat dissipation remains low during normal use. Four voltage outputs can drive loads down to 1 kΩ, which complements the current-output section for valve or interface control. The electronics are built to component series 2 and use a command structure intended for dedicated hydraulic motion control. At 1.0 kg, the unit is light enough to handle easily during panel installation.
