Product Description:
The VT-HNC100-2-30-P-I-00-000 is a digital axis controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. It belongs to the Digital NC control HNC100 product family and is intended for closed-loop positioning of hydraulic axes in automated machinery. By coordinating servo-hydraulic valves, transducers, and supervisory PLCs, the unit executes motion sequences inside a protected control cabinet.
The controller is supplied in a version for 2 hydraulic axes. Each axis is supported by two voltage inputs, two current inputs, and two analog outputs, allowing simultaneous pressure and position loops. A 32-bit PowerPC CPU handles interpolation and error checking, providing sufficient processing throughput for multi-kilohertz control cycles. Voltage feedback is quantized in steps of 5 mV, and current feedback is quantized in steps of 5 µA, so fine variations in transducer signals can be detected before they develop into motion error. The incremental encoder interface accepts pulse trains up to 250 kHz, permitting high-resolution position feedback from magnetostrictive or glass-scale sensors. Two encoder slots and two analog I/O slots are built onto the base board, and the variant without a bus connection relies on discrete wiring or optional modules for higher-level communication.
The enclosure meets IP20, so it must be mounted in a protected cabinet where ambient dust and moisture are limited. Up to 20 digital outputs can actuate solenoid coils or indicator lamps, and each digital I/O slot contains 11 points that can be assigned as inputs or outputs. Voltage command signals are generated with a resolution of 1.25 mV, which helps minimize dither on proportional valves. The absence of an inductive position sensor leaves the feedback device selection open for the application. Voltage and current I/O each use two channels per axis, which keeps the signal layout straightforward.
