Product Description:
The VT-HNC100-1-2X-M-08-0-C-INK2 is a digital axis controller built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. Designed as a dedicated motion module, it supervises hydraulic positioning loops in industrial automation lines and converts command variables from a PLC or host computer into drive-ready signals for proportional or servo valves. The board forms the interface between machine logic and valve actuation, allowing axis travel to follow numeric setpoints with millisecond accuracy. In hydraulic systems, that helps maintain repeatable positioning during rapid command changes and load variation.
The controller supports 1 hydraulic axis. Its analog resources include 4 voltage and 4 current inputs for reading transducer data, while the binary interface provides 8 input/output lines for limit switches, enable commands, and status flags. The unit is delivered without a bus connection, which keeps the interface layout simple. A 16/32-bit MC68376 microcontroller executes closed-loop algorithms and exchanges data with 256 KB of RAM. Nonvolatile memory includes 1 MB of flash EPROM and 8 KB of EEPROM for stored operating data, and position feedback can be handled through calibration for two IW9 inductive sensors or through a second counter interface for incremental encoders. No additional evaluation electronics are required on the rack.
The controller is intended for rack installation within the HNC100 backplane. Its footprint measures 155 mm in height and 71 mm in width, while the 204 mm depth helps planners allocate cabinet space precisely. Continuous processing draws only 8 W, which reduces thermal load on adjacent electronics in fan-cooled enclosures. The card weighs 1.0 kg, so standard DIN rails or card cages can support it without reinforcement. Its compact format also suits modular control racks where neighboring cards share backplane connections and cooling airflow. It belongs to component series 2 within the HNC100 platform.
