The VT-HNC100-1-1X-134 is a digital axis controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for use in centralized or distributed automation cabinets. As a member of the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series within the Digital NC control HNC100 product line, the card supervises a hydraulic actuator by processing sensor signals, calculating setpoints, and issuing proportional valve commands. The device is intended for metal-forming presses, plastics machinery, and general motion sequences where repeatable axis travel and pressure ramping are handled by an electronic control loop rather than discrete relay logic.

In this hardware revision, the controller is supplied as a 19-inch Eurocard for insertion into drive racks, with optional 19-inch rack or wall mounting. It is the factory version for one hydraulic axis, concentrating all computation on a single closed loop. A freely programmable NC kernel executes user motion code. Communication is handled through Profibus DP, CANopen, INTERBUS-S, and SERCOS interfaces for PLC or HMI links. Up to 4 analog position transducers are accepted, and the card also offers one EnDat port, two inductive sensor sockets, and a 1 Vss encoder input. The controller also provides two drive and two auxiliary analog output channels for valve commands. The hardware is identified as component series 1.

The measurement chain is complemented by ±10 V and 4 to 20 mA analog feedback ranges that allow pressure or displacement transmitters to connect without external conditioning. For incremental metrology, the board provides 2 x TTL encoder inputs, and for absolute readout it has 2 SSI channels that stream position words directly to the NC core. Hydraulic force monitoring is supported through 4 analog pressure inputs. Eight free analog inputs remain available for temperature or flow sensors, giving machine builders additional data points for adaptive control strategies.
