Product Description:
The VT-HNC100-1-3X-S-C-30-000 is a digital axis controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. It belongs to component series 3 and is intended for one hydraulic axis, so it supervises a single cylinder or valve group in closed-loop motion sequences. In industrial automation, the unit translates setpoints from a PLC into precise valve currents while returning position and pressure data for high-accuracy press, molding, or testing operations.
An internal analog connector carries 15 AIO connector pins, while the digital connector provides 12 DIO connector pins to support the controller’s 11 digital I/O points. Signal processing is divided among 2 current input channels, 1 current output channel, two voltage inputs, and two voltage outputs, allowing simultaneous feedback from force transducers and control of a proportional valve. The IP20 protection class restricts installation to control cabinets. Top-hat rail mounting fits a 35 mm rail, and incremental or SSI encoders can be connected through the selectable interface supplied by a regulated source. Applications that require inductive position sensors need an external module because this version does not include that interface.
Parameter access and diagnostics are handled through the RS232 service interface, so the controller can be adjusted without network hardware. The encoder port provides a stabilized 5 V encoder supply, while auxiliary transducers draw power from the controller’s 24 V sensor supply. Analog command signals use a fixed 10 V reference to reduce ratio-metric error during valve actuation. The device operates without a bus connection, so data exchange relies on discrete wiring or the dedicated service port. This arrangement keeps the response path short for single-axis hydraulic control.
