Bosch Rexroth’s hydraulic and electronic systems are composed of high-functional control units such as those in the HNC100 series. These devices are widely used for controlling such systems and in applications like machine tools, transfer lines, plastic processing machines, and presses.
The VT-HNC100-1-2X/W-24-P-0 is a model of Bosch Rexroth’s HNC100, Component 2X digital axis control units. It has a housing design that supports wall mounting as its installation type and features a compact build that makes the installation process rapid. The programmable NC control has a 16/32 Bit MC68376 microcontroller chip with enhanced data manipulation capabilities and is a variant for one hydraulic axis. It is also suited to applications with closed-loop controlled axis and the control of hydraulic and electric drives. There are 24 digital inputs and outputs each in this HNC model and a PROFIBUS DP interface with which it achieves high-level control. Bosch Rexroth’s user-friendly WIN-PED 5 tool can be used to parameterize, set, and program it. The software program features an interactive user interface and is also useful for diagnostics.
With the immunity of the VT-HNC100-1-2X/W-24-P-0 to interference and its mechanical resistance to shock and vibration, it can be safely installed and operated in unfavorable industrial environments. Some of the freely configurable controller variants for its hydraulic axis are the position controller, pressure/force controller, and position-dependent braking.
