Product Description:
The VT-HNC100-1-20/W-08-P-0 is a digital axis controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. Intended for hydraulic motion control, this edition manages one hydraulic axis and is supplied for wall mounting inside an electrical cabinet. Operating as a Digital NC control HNC100 node, it exchanges commands and status over a Profibus DP fieldbus so a supervisory PLC can delegate real-time position, pressure, and force regulation to the unit.
Communication with the plant network uses DP Profibus at 12 Mbaud, ensuring low-latency telegrams. Four current inputs accept ±10 mA signals and terminate through 100 Ω resistors with a tolerance of ±0.2%. A resolution of 5 µA allows the control loop to detect small load changes. Two current outputs reproduce analog commands, while four voltage inputs sample sensor signals at 5 mV resolution. The incremental encoder port counts input signals at frequencies up to 250 kHz. Eight configurable digital input and output lines can be assigned to limit switches or sequence bits. The electronics and fieldbus interface draw only 8 W of power. The housing belongs to component series 2.
The analog outputs provide precise control signals, with four voltage channels issuing setpoints at a resolution of 1.25 mV. Their load-independent accuracy is supported by an output stage designed for connection to downstream valve amplifiers. The voltage inputs have an impedance of 200 kΩ, which limits sensor loading while preserving noise immunity over long cable runs. No inductive position sensor is integrated, so external LVDTs or encoders must be connected when position feedback is required. Housing dimensions of 71 × 155 × 204 mm allow the 1.0 kg module to fit in densely populated electrical panels. Wall-mount brackets maintain cooling airflow around the heat-dissipating side fins. All connectors face forward, providing direct access when the controller is installed beside additional VT-HNC units that manage other axes.
