The VT-HNC100-3-3X-E-I-00-G03 digital axis controller is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. Designed as the command and regulation unit for hydraulic positioning tasks, the module coordinates valve currents and transducer feedback so three independent axes can follow setpoint profiles inside presses, injection machines, or test rigs. By integrating motion control, closed-loop pressure regulation, and fast communication, the device replaces separate PLC motion cards and dedicated hydraulic electronics.

Real-time data exchange is handled by an Ethernet interface that operates at 100 Mbit/s, and the traffic is distributed internally by an integrated 3-port switch so multiple stations can be wired in line without an external hub. The controller executes control loops on a base period of 2 ms, permitting tight position and pressure regulation on rapid hydraulic drives. Each cycle, it can exchange up to 992 bytes of cyclic input and output data with the host PLC, keeping axis status, diagnostics, and command values synchronized. For feedback, the HNC100 accepts incremental or SSI position transducers, enabling high-resolution measurement when paired with suitable scales. Three analog I/O slots with 15 pins each, three digital I/O slots with 12 pins each, and three encoder slots with 15 pins provide field-wiring flexibility for valves, sensors, and encoders.

The housing carries an IP20 rating for installation inside a control cabinet, and the electronics belong to component series 3 with a bus-less design that does not include a fieldbus daughter card.
