Product Description

VT-HNC100-1-30/C-I-00/000 is a programmable NC control. It is produced by Bosch for applications such as machine tools, plastic machines, special-purpose machines, presses and transfer systems. Technology functions supported by the NC control include process programming, positioning, pressure/force control, differential pressure control, synchronization, curves and cams. It supports control of one hydraulic axis. The control is equipped with an optional CANopen interface for communication with higher level control. It is also equipped with a RS-232 interface for serial communication. Bosch provides the WIN-PED software for NC control configuration. This software is available for free download from the Bosch website. The software is also available on CD-ROM. Bosch recommends use of only genuine packaging for storage. The admissible storage temperature range is -20 to +70 degrees Celsius. The control must be protected from dust and humidity during storage. The optimal temperature for NC control operation is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. The operating environment must be free of electrically conductive materials such as acids, bases, corrosive agents, salts, and metal vapors. The NC control must not be exposed to these substances. Operators must also rule out deposits to comply with protection class IP 20. The housing of the NC control is perforated. Therefore, dirt and fluids can easily enter and cause failures or short circuit. When working on the unit, operators must make sure that the unit is clean and that no fluids can enter the housing. There is a series risk of destroying the NC control by connecting or disconnecting plugs when the system is turned on. Therefore, operators must switch off power supply to the system before assembling it or when connecting or disconnecting the plug-in connectors.
