Installed in a control cabinet, it governs a single hydraulic cylinder or motor with deterministic, NC-style command execution. Its role is centered on precise hydraulic motion control rather than direct power conversion for an electric drive axis.
This unit controls 1 hydraulic axis, dedicating its processing capacity to one motion channel and the associated sensors. Computation is handled by a 16/32-bit MC68376 processor that boots from 1 MB of flash memory, while nonvolatile parameter blocks occupy an additional 8 KB of EEPROM. The electronics dissipate only 8 W, which helps reduce heat buildup inside the panel.
