Product Description:
The VT-HNC100-2-33/N-I-00/00 is a digital axis controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied under the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. As a member of the Digital NC control HNC100 product series, this module is intended for closed-loop positioning and velocity control of hydraulic actuators. It mounts inside a control cabinet and cooperates with proportional valves, pressure sensors, and feedback encoders to translate electronic trajectory commands from a PLC or CNC into accurate ram or cylinder movement in machine tools, forming presses, and general motion machinery.
Internally, the controller manages 2 axes, each treated as an independent control loop with synchronized update schedules. The controller can refresh all control, feedback, and communication tasks in a minimum of 2 ms, a period suitable for hydraulic positioning where valve dynamics dominate response time. For data exchange with the higher-level controller, the device reserves a cyclic process image of 992 bytes, allowing extensive parameter sets and diagnostics to move without segmentation. This information is carried over the integrated Ethernet interface at 100 Mbit/s, so status words, setpoints, and diagnostic blocks reach the PLC within a single network cycle.
Local instrumentation can be powered directly from the module. Analog transducers receive a regulated 24 V supply, while incremental or SSI encoders receive 5 V to maintain signal integrity over short cables. Command potentiometers or reference generators can be connected to the internal 10 V reference, eliminating the need for external supply rails. For deterministic fieldbus integration, the unit satisfies PROFINET Class A requirements and routes traffic through an embedded switch with 3 ports, allowing line or ring topologies without additional industrial Ethernet hardware.
