In production cells, it handles motion sequencing and real-time interpolation by processing analog and digital feedback from sensors and drives. It is commonly used to coordinate presses, laboratory test rigs, and material-handling stations.
Signal handling on the controller is distributed across 2 analog current inputs, 1 analog voltage input, and 2 analog voltage outputs, providing separate channels for pressure command, position target, and valve drive signals. Four static process flags are accepted through 4 digital inputs, while actuator or status lines are issued on 2 digital outputs.
