The VT-HNC100-3-3X-P-I-E0-G03 is a digital axis controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series and serves as the control core within the HNC100 platform. It converts position and velocity commands into precise hydraulic actuator movements across three axes. The controller coordinates valves, sensors, and encoders to execute closed-loop sequences in industrial automation cells. Its control functions compare command values with incoming feedback so hydraulic motion remains stable during positioning, synchronization, and speed changes.
Each plug-in I/O slot provides 2 per slot analog current inputs and 1 per slot analog current output, complemented by two analog voltage inputs for non-current sensors. For digital signals, 11 per slot lines handle mixed-direction I/O, while the aggregate high-side driver capacity is capped at 20 max discrete outputs. The supplied card variant is intended for hydraulic axis control and belongs to component series 3. Diagnostic feedback is provided by three base LEDs and four network LEDs, and the design ships without a bus connection. To stabilize encoder transducers, the board delivers an auxiliary rail of +24 Venc and a separate 24 Vsens supply for field sensors, with ripple kept below 1.5 Vpp.
A precision reference node of +10 Vref is available for external setpoint generation, and the internal encoder logic is powered from +5 Venc to maintain correct TTL levels. Configuration and service diagnostics are accessed through the onboard RS232 serial interface, allowing direct connection to standard PCs.
