The VT-HNC100-C-3X-P-S-00-000 is a digital axis controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and used in the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. It provides closed-loop control for a single hydraulic or electric axis by reading position feedback and generating command signals for the connected drive stage. This layout lets machine tools, presses, and handling systems run one motion channel from a compact control module instead of relying on a separate rack-mounted computer. Because the control loop is housed in the module itself, the axis can react to feedback changes without depending on an external motion computer for every correction step.

The controller uses a compact 1-axis version, so its resources are focused on one motion channel rather than being shared across multiple axes. Machine commands enter through 4 digital inputs, and analog feedback is accepted on 1 voltage input with 200 kΩ ±5% impedance and 5 mV resolution, plus 2 current inputs terminated by 225 Ω. Actuation signals leave through 2 voltage outputs, which support proportional valves or similar command interfaces, and two digital outputs complete the discrete I/O set. The device is supplied without a bus connection, so wiring is point-to-point. This arrangement keeps the controller suitable for installations that do not use a networked fieldbus. Communication with external encoders uses an SSI interface with RS485 drivers, and the transfer capacity is limited to a 28-bit SSI data width.
