The VT-HNC100-3-3X-P-I-00-000 digital axis controller is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. Intended for hydraulic motion control, it coordinates up to three cylinders or valve-actuated axes inside an automation cell. The device receives position feedback, executes numeric interpolation, and issues drive commands so that each hydraulic axis reaches its commanded position with repeatable accuracy. This arrangement supports synchronized motion in hydraulic systems that need stable position control and coordinated axis response.

In this configuration, the controller is a version for 3 hydraulic axes, giving it three independent position loops without requiring an expansion card. Two voltage inputs and two current inputs are available per slot, and one current output per slot supplies control signals to valve electronics. Sensor excitation is provided through a +24 V supply rail, while parameter access and diagnostics are handled over an RS232 service interface. No fieldbus connection is installed, and synchronization is not included in this model. The electronics have an IP20 protection rating, and the housing clips onto a 35 mm mounting rail inside the control cabinet.

As part of component series 3, the unit follows the signal assignment used for the Digital NC control HNC100 family. It offers 11 configurable digital channels per slot and can provide up to 20 digital outputs in total when all base and option terminals are used. The encoder terminal supplies +5 V to incremental or SSI feedback devices, while the analog reference terminal delivers +10 V for a potentiometer or an external command generator. The unit does not include an inductive position sensor, so a separate transducer can be selected to match the required stroke length and positioning accuracy. Three power connector pins carry the internal supply and maintain earth continuity during operation.
