The XSM Centurion servo motor series is a low-inertia, brushless servo motor family designed to deliver high acceleration and deceleration using high-energy neodymium magnet rotors.
The motors integrate winding temperature sensing so overload conditions can be handled through controlled shutdown, and the stator design is optimized for thermal transfer to sustain demanding, high-duty-cycle automation. Standard feedback is an incremental encoder, with higher-resolution and multi-turn absolute encoder options available to match positioning requirements. Integration is aimed at simplifying machine design and commissioning through standard cable sets, compatibility with direct-mount pinions and belt pulleys, and support for common gearboxes and mounting plates, with CAD drawings available for mechanical layout. The series is packaged for reliable operation in harsh industrial environments, carries UL/cUL/CE approvals for worldwide use, and is positioned for applications such as smart conveyors, packaging machinery, material feeding, and robotic pick-and-place.
