XSM215-425-304-M-0KA is a Kollmorgen AC servo motor. XSM series motors feature a brushless design, which makes them maintenance-free and significantly improves their reliability. Kollmorgen supplies standard cable sets with the motors to speed up and ease installation and commissioning. Magnets used for motor construction enable fast deceleration and acceleration. The motors come with integrated temperature monitoring which prevents damage due to overload events. Operators can use belt pulleys and direct-mount pinions for economical motor installation and commissioning. The motors feature incremental encoders as a standard feature. Operators can also order higher resolution encoders and multiturn encoders. Design of the stator used on XSM motors enables optimal thermal transfer. The robust motor packaging allows their use in adverse operating conditions. The motors are approved by UL and certified by CE for global application.
