The XSM100-37-504-S-2AA is a brushless servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen as part of the XSM Centurion Servo Motors series. The motor uses SinCoS feedback to provide high-resolution position data for accurate closed-loop motion control. Its 16.0 mm shaft has no keyway, making it suitable for low-backlash clamping couplings, while its 37 in-lb continuous torque supports precise rotary actuation in packaging, material-handling, and small machine-tool axes.
The electrical section supports a line voltage of 460 V, and a compatible drive can command a rotor speed of up to 5000 rpm for rapid indexing. Peak dynamic loads are supported by a maximum torque of 11.1 Nm. The winding has a phase inductance of 28 mH, which affects current response during acceleration and deceleration.
