The XSM100-37-504-S-0AA servo motor is produced by Kollmorgen within the XSM Centurion Servo Motors series. Built for closed-loop axes, this brushless unit converts electrical input into regulated rotary torque for packaging lines and general automation. It belongs to the Centurion product group, and its frame size 100 housing fits mid-range machines without adapters. Because no brake is installed, the shaft is not held when power is removed, so holding force must be supplied by the drive or external mechanics.

Under rated conditions, the motor delivers a continuous torque of 4.2 Nm. During acceleration, it can reach a peak torque of 11.1 Nm, providing additional capacity for transient load spikes. The three-phase stator has a phase inductance of 28 mH and a phase resistance of 4.61 ohms. These electrical values affect the motor time constant and current-loop response in the connected drive. A torque constant of 0.79 Nm/A links commanded current to output torque, supporting accurate current control. The windings are rated for 460 V, while a voltage constant of 96 V/krpm indicates how back electromotive force rises with speed.
