B&R’s 8EI ACOPOS P3 servo drives are modular multi-axis servo drive units available in 1-axis, 2-axis, and 3-axis versions.
They have a power range spanning approximately 0.6 to 18 kW and 1.6 to 44 Aeff. The series includes mains-input variants for 1x 110–230 VAC / 3x 200–230 VAC and for 3x 200–480 VAC systems, and it is built in a wall-mount format with IP20 protection for control-cabinet installation. A key platform feature is axis-dense packaging, with the 3-axis version designed in a housing footprint comparable to a conventional single-axis unit, and the series also provides an integrated digital multi-encoder interface for each axis. 8EI drives are available in standard hardwired safety versions and SafeMOTION versions, and they use POWERLINK communication with axis-specific status indication for startup and operating states. The platform is also highly configurable through plug-in modules and accessories, including resolver, incremental encoder, analog/digital multi-encoder, and digital I/O interface options, plus selectable accessories such as internal braking resistors, front covers, display modules, and line filters.
