The 8EI2X2HWD10.0500-1 is a servo drive module produced by B&R Automation for the 8EI Servo Drives series within the ACOPOS P3 8EI servo drive platform. It supplies power and closed-loop control to two motor axes used in synchronized industrial automation tasks. The module connects directly to multi-axis machine controllers through the series backplane, supporting coordinated motion without separate communication wiring between adjacent drive modules.
The module accepts a supply of 3 × 200–480 VAC, allowing it to operate from a broad range of three-phase mains sources. Each axis provides a continuous current of 2.2 A RMS for sustained motor operation within the drive’s thermal limits. Its two-axis module design reduces cabinet space compared with installing two separate single-axis units. Safety functions use hardwired STO technology with encoder support, allowing both motor channels to enter a torque-free state through discrete wiring rather than network commands.
