Product Description:
The 8EI2X2MWD10.0700-1 is a 2-axis servo drive module from the 8EI Servo Drives series manufactured by B&R Automation. Designed for wall mounting inside control cabinets, it conditions AC mains power and issues closed-loop current commands to paired servomotors. In packaging lines, pick-and-place stations, and other motion systems, it supports accurate positioning and coordinated multi-axis movement.
The drive accepts a supply of 3x 200-230 VAC / 1x 110-230 VAC and shares a common DC link with neighboring modules after rectification. Each axis can deliver 2.2 Aeff continuously, while short acceleration demands are covered by peaks of 6 Aeff per axis. A nominal switching frequency of 5 kHz balances motor noise with thermal loss and helps the unit suit low-inductance permanent-magnet servomotors used in ACOPOS P3 systems.
Continuous output is rated at 0.5 kW per axis, and short overload periods raise available power to 1.25 kW. A DC-bus capacitance of 1880 µF helps smooth regenerated energy and stabilize link voltage during startup events. The module operates in ambient temperatures up to 55°C, and its IP20 housing, hardwired STO circuit, and encoder feedback support cabinet integration where standard machine safety functions are required.
Wake Industrial keeps this servo module in stock and can arrange same-day shipping for urgent rebuilds. Every purchase is backed by a 1-year warranty, and quotations remain valid for 30 days to aid maintenance budgeting. That availability helps maintenance teams replace a failed drive quickly, while the longer quote window gives purchasers time to confirm internal approvals before placing an order. This can reduce downtime when a cabinet repair must proceed on a compressed service schedule.
