The unit functions as a motor inverter that converts three-phase mains power into regulated output currents so machines can position, accelerate, and stop precisely in automated production lines, packaging machines, and robotic cells that demand coordinated multi-axis control. Marketed within the ACOPOS P3 range, it is intended for synchronized motion applications where compact multi-axis hardware is preferred over separate single-axis drives.
It accepts a bus supply of 3x 200–480 VAC, allowing one part code to operate in low- or medium-voltage installations worldwide. Each axis can deliver a continuous current of 2.2 Aeff, which suits small servo motors used for feeders, pick-and-place heads, or auxiliary rolls. Because the hardware is a 2-axis module, two independent current regulators share one enclosure, reducing cabinet width while supporting two coordinated motor channels from one unit. Personnel protection is handled by hardwired STO, which interrupts torque without relying on fieldbus commands. Mechanical integration is simplified through wall mounting, and the enclosure format supports straightforward installation in machine cabinets.
