The 8EI2X2HWS10.0400-1 is a subproduct of B&R Automation’s powerful SANMOTION servo drive series. As part of the SafeMotion product umbrella, this servo drive requires a three-phase mains input voltage of 200 to 480 V to operate properly. Similar to other three-phase drives and electrical modules, this unit can run at a system frequency of 50 to 60 hertz. The choice of frequency depends mainly on the location or intended application. Usually, electrical systems in Europe and Australia utilize 50 hertz systems, whereas most of America uses 60 hertz systems. Like all other 8EI drives by B&R Automation, this product has seamless compatibility with other servo motors and control devices released by B&R.
The 8EI2X2HWS10.0400-1 supports wall-mounting and can be fixed via a set of mounting screws. As a single-axis module, this servo drive has robust capabilities in monitoring rotor position and speed for a single motor. Similar to other single-axis modules under the SafeMotion series, the 8EI2X2HWS10.0400-1 provides a powerful set of status indicators for intuitively guiding the user about the drive’s operating conditions.
