The 8EI8X8HWT10.C200-1 servo drive module is produced by B&R Automation within the 8EI Servo Drives series. As a multi-axis drive, it manages synchronous motors at the same time and integrates into ACOPOS P3 platforms for coordinated motion control. The unit regulates speed, torque, and position for machine tools, packaging lines, and material handling systems where several axes must move in step. Its compact format supports cabinet installation where high axis density, short internal wiring runs, and centralized motion control are important. By combining multiple controlled axes in one housing, it reduces the number of separate modules needed in machines with closely grouped motion functions. It is suited to systems that need synchronized motion across feeding, indexing, and transfer axes.
This unit is supplied as a 3-axis module, and it accepts a three-phase input of 3x 200-480 VAC. Each axis can deliver a continuous current of 8.8 Aeff, which suits mid-range servo motors in tightly packed control cabinets. Installation uses wall mounting, so the module follows a vertical cabinet layout for airflow and cable entry. Feedback wiring connects through the plug-in Resolver 3x interface, which sends analog rotor position signals to the control loops for all motor channels. Power and feedback leads attach through the 1-row connector set, and the second connector position is not fitted. The module uses the standard option code, so no module-specific additions are built into this version. Because there is no internal braking resistor, excess regenerative energy must be routed to an external resistor or a line-side unit during deceleration. All external leads enter from the fitted connector position, which keeps the front layout organized inside a narrow cabinet bay.
