The 5AP Single Touch Automation Panels series is a family of panel-mounted operator interfaces for B&R AP1000 and compatible PPC platforms, designed for control-cabinet installation in a range of display sizes and layouts.
Across the series, the panels use TFT color displays with formats including VGA, WVGA, WXGA, SVGA, and higher-resolution 10.1-inch variants, and the single-touch models use analog resistive touch technology with a B&R serial 12-bit controller. Depending on the model, the series is available as touchscreen-only panels or as combined HMI panels with illuminated function keys, system keys, and front USB access for operator interaction. The front side of the panels is built for industrial use with IP65 and Type 4X protection, aluminum-framed construction, LED backlighting, and dimmable brightness characteristics matched to the screen size and revision level. Overall, the 5AP single-touch series is intended to provide scalable operator-panel hardware for machine visualization and input tasks where resistive touch operation, panel integration, and compatibility with B&R automation systems are required.
