B & R Automation has introduced the 5AP1120.1215-C03 Automation Panel that provides a reliable user interface in industrial automation systems. It has a 12.1-inch display that has a resolution of SVGA with 800 x 600 pixels. Its display admits 16.7 million colors, which offer clear and vivid images. It has an analog and resistive touchscreen that provides precise touch control.
The 5AP1120.1215-C03 automation panel is controlled using a B&R serial controller with 12-bit resolution. The touch screen transmittance is 81 % + / - 3 percent for good visibility under different lighting conditions. The LED technology backlight has an adjustable brightness between 22.5 cd/m 2 and 450 cd/m 2. Its backlight has a long lifetime with 50000 hours half-brightness life. The display has an extensive horizontal/vertical viewing angle with 89 horizontal degrees and 89 vertical degrees. This enables us to see easily from other angles. The 5AP1120.1215-C03 automation panel has one USB 2.0 type-A port. It is compatible with various transfer rates, viz., low (1.5 Mbit/s), full (12 Mbit/s), and high speed (480 Mbit/s). The USB port can support currents as high as 500 mA, hence it can support a wide range of connected devices.
