The 5AP1120.1043-C07 is a single-touch operator interface panel produced by B&R Automation for the 5AP Single Touch Automation Panels series. It combines a color display with an analog resistive touchscreen so machine operators can issue commands and monitor process values directly at the machine frame. By combining visualization and input in one sealed module, the panel serves as the human-machine interface in packaging lines, material-handling cells, and other automated equipment.

The front surface carries a 10.4 in TFT color display that renders graphics at 640 × 480 px. This resolution supports status screens, trend views, alarm lists, and control graphics within the available viewing area. A contrast ratio of 900:1 improves readability under variable lighting, while the LED backlight has a half-brightness service life of 70,000 h before brightness falls to half its initial level. The analog resistive touch layer detects single-finger commands even through work gloves. To resist hose-directed water and airborne particulates, the bezel provides IP65 protection. The laminated construction also shields the panel electronics from oil mist.

Rear installation is supported by IP20 protection and a ventilated housing that measures 260 mm high and 323 mm wide. The ventilated rear housing permits internal heat to escape when the panel is installed in an enclosure. The assembly weighs 2800 g, allowing VESA or swing-arm mounting without extra reinforcement. A single USB host interface is fitted, and its Type-A receptacle supports one external device under the USB 2.0 standard. The supply rail can source 500 mA to peripherals such as memory keys or barcode readers. The rear-facing receptacle provides peripheral access without interrupting the sealed front surface.
