The 5AP920.1043-K01 is a human-machine interface panel manufactured by B & R Automation within the 5AP Single Touch Automation Panels series. Serving as the operator front end for PLC-based machinery, it combines a display, touch input, and low-voltage power interface into one sealed unit. Installed on a cabinet door or swing arm, the panel gives machine operators a direct way to visualize process data and enter commands without separate monitors, keypads, or signal converters. That integrated format helps conserve panel space and keeps the interface close to the machine process.
At the heart of the unit is a 10.4 in diagonal screen that provides a compact viewing area suitable for tight machine frames. The picture is rendered at 640 × 480 pixels, so vector graphics and text stay legible without overloading the controller with large bitmaps. This screen format works well for status pages, alarm views, and recipe entry on compact equipment. The panel employs a TFT color display, delivering stable contrast across wide viewing angles that help operators read alarms from the side. User input is captured through a touchscreen, eliminating mechanical keys and permitting dynamic soft-key layouts.
