By providing a single access point for commands and feedback, the panel links human input to PLC logic without external keyboards or pointing devices.
Visual performance is built around a 5.7-inch TFT color display that renders graphics at 640 × 480 pixels. An LED backlight supplies uniform illumination and has a half-brightness life of 50,000 hours, supporting long service intervals in continuously operating equipment. The screen can reproduce 262,144 colors, allowing distinct status indicators and detailed mimic diagrams. The front has an IP65 protection rating, so dust and directed water jets do not enter the enclosure when the bezel is correctly sealed in a cabinet door. Input is captured through an analog resistive touch layer managed by a serial 12-bit controller.
