B&R Automation’s 5AP1130.156C-001 is a single-touch operator panel in the 5AP Single Touch Automation Panels series. The device functions as the primary visual and input station on automated packaging lines, material-handling cells, and process equipment. By uniting a widescreen display, touch sensor, and sealed front bezel, it allows machine builders to present diagnostic data, recipe parameters, and alarms while letting operators confirm selections directly on the glass without external keyboards or pointing devices.
The visualization area measures 15.6 inches diagonally and has a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9, providing enough horizontal space for parallel trend charts and status banners. A native resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels supplies full HD detail. The TFT color display is illuminated by an LED backlight that maintains brightness while reducing power consumption compared with fluorescent lamps. User input is captured through a projected capacitive touch sensor, allowing touch commands even when operators wear thin industrial gloves. Optical bonding between the cover glass and the LCD minimizes internal reflections so graphics remain legible in brightly lit environments.
The front frame is made of coated aluminum, and a continuous 3 mm gasket seats against the panel door to maintain the enclosure seal.
