The 5AP920.1501-01 is a human-machine interface panel produced by B & R Automation for the 5AP Single Touch Automation Panels series. This device integrates a graphical display with touch input and on-board communication links, providing operators with direct access to machine status, parameter entry, and fault acknowledgment in automated production cells. Mounted on a cabinet door or swing arm, it serves as the visual and command point between programmable controllers and the mechanical equipment they coordinate.

The panel offers a 15 in active display area that gives operators a sizable workspace for process graphics without occupying excessive panel real estate. The screen uses a Color TFT matrix, so brightness and contrast remain stable when viewed from varied angles on the factory floor. Graphics are rendered at XGA resolution, allowing small text and detailed mimic diagrams to be shown clearly.
