The 5AP920.1043-K06 is a human-machine interface from the 5AP Single Touch Automation Panels series manufactured by B&R Automation. It is designed to present process data graphically and accept single-touch operator commands in industrial automation cells, packaging lines, or material-handling stations. The panel integrates a TFT color display with an analog-resistive touchscreen so that control commands can be issued with a gloved finger or stylus, reducing reliance on external keypads.

The visual section uses a LED backlight that drives a display area measuring 10.4 in across the diagonal. Graphics are rendered at 640 × 480 pixels; this VGA resolution balances information density with computational load on the connected controller. Screen readability is supported by a luminance of 450 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 700:1, allowing status colors and alarm icons to remain distinguishable under factory lighting. The touch surface uses analog-resistive technology governed by an Elo Serial 12-bit controller, which converts finger pressure into coordinate data for the PLC.
