The panel can be mounted on a cabinet door or swing arm to provide real-time visualization, recipe entry, and alarm acknowledgment. Its integrated controls allow users to interact with machinery without adding a separate computer at the operator station.
The screen measures 10.4 in diagonally and renders graphics at 640 × 480 pixels, allowing standard VGA layouts to appear at their native resolution. Image legibility is supported by a 900:1 contrast ratio and a palette of 16.7 million colors, providing clear distinctions between process states and alarm indicators. The analog resistive touch layer responds to pressure, allowing input through gloves or with a stylus and supporting operation when oil or dust is present on the cover glass. A sealed stainless-steel bezel gives the front face an IP65 rating, protecting it against water jets and airborne particles encountered during washdown or sanding operations.
